Free · Twenty minutes · Nobody calls you
Six checks you can run at the kitchen table this afternoon. A handful of food, no special equipment, about twenty minutes. Written for dogs between five and eighteen months, which is when most of them stop being a puppy problem and start being a different one.
You cannot get directions without a starting point, and most people are guessing at theirs.
Six checks in plain English. Can you leave the room. Does the name still work when something is happening. Do they come back when it is not convenient. Things a dog either does or does not do.
How to run them without cheating. Most people accidentally set these up to go well and then learn nothing. There are three rules and they matter more than the checks do.
What each one cannot tell you. Every check has a limit and the limit is written next to it. That is the part people come back to later.
What to do with your score. Not a twelve week plan. The one thing worth working on for a fortnight, based on what you actually found.
If you pass all six and sort the rest out on your own, good. We would rather you had this for free than paid anybody for it.

The checks first. After that, a note every week or so about whatever your dog is going through. One click stops it any time.
If your dog is under five months
These checks assume a dog who has already formed some habits. If yours is still a puppy, the useful thing is a map of what is coming rather than a measure of where you are.
